Swensen's Dessert buffet: A review (MACAM PAHAM!! HAHA)
When we decided to go for the buffet instead of the usual set meals, we were practically bursting with excitement la pls!! Like, omg there's not only ice cream, theres also gelato! With about 20 flavours each, no less! And chocolate and strawberry fondeu! And a mix-in with toppings just like at Ice cream Chefs! And theres also cakes & pies & waffles & pancakes! Before we started to eat we were like,
I'm so going to try out every single flavour! and
We're going to keep eating until nighttime! since there wasnt any time limit. We also thought Swensen's was being plain stupid cos obviously they're going to make a loss thanks to the presence of people like us. Hahah, such confident remarks!
HOWEVER TO OUR GENERAL ASTONISHMENT, after only the first round we felt as if we couldnt eat anymore ): But we kept forcing ourselves back to the buffet table to stuff ourselves with more ice cream so that our money wont be wasted haha but like can mampos sia, i felt as if my brain became mushy like the ice cream. Its not that the taste of the ice cream sucks or anything, its just that too much of a good thing can end up being a bad thing. But the gelato was the best! MANGO AND DURIAN omg the durian gelato was seriously um very.. durian-y. KBYE you know what i mean?? It tastes
EXACTLY like durian. Ok duh. But if you feed it to a blind guy he would think he was eating a real durian fruit. So in conclusion, i would highly recommend you to
NOT go for the ice cream buffet. I think its a smart scam in disguise! But thank you ms k for the voucher, you're too kind ^^
